This is the story of Caballo Blanco. One day Blanco set off to run 12 miles but
didn’t return home. No one knew what
happened to him so his friend Christopher McDougall went to look for him. But this was not the first time that Blanco
had gotten lost but he said he loved it.
He got to climb hills and mountains and enjoyed himself. Hi friend went looking for him and calling
his name hoping his friend would hear him.
They followed where he ran but still could not find him. McDougall knew he could not find him alone so
he got others to help out. Unfortunately
when they did find Caballo Blanco, he had died.
They are not sure what happened only that they think he fell but he
lives on in his friends and how he taught them to love to run.
